Optimal Beam Inc. · Version 2026-10-10.2

Course terms and support

These terms cover the one-time purchase of Practical Beam Analysis. They govern this course purchase separately from the software subscription terms.

Enrollment is being prepared. Payment is unavailable until the purchase policy and tax settings are finalized.

Price and access

The course costs $99 USD, paid once. Total: $99 USD. Stripe shows the final total before you confirm payment. Your bank may apply currency-conversion fees.

One purchase provides access for one named learner to all six written modules, prepared calculator labs, saved learning records, assessment retakes, the printable workbook and a certificate after completion. It includes ongoing access to the purchased course and version 1.x corrections. No software subscription, recurring charge, future major course release or individual coaching is included.

Access begins after successful payment and belongs to the account used at checkout. You may use your own devices; do not share or resell your account. You may retain and print your own workbook, syllabus and certificate for personal and professional-development records. Course material may not be redistributed or sold.

Refunds

Course purchases are non-refundable. If you feel the course has not provided value, contact us; we review concerns individually and may offer a discretionary goodwill refund. We correct duplicate or erroneous charges and honor refunds required by applicable law. A full refund ends paid course access. Nothing in this policy removes rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

If you were charged twice or payment succeeded but access is missing, contact us with your account email and receipt. Do not purchase again. Refunds are returned through the original payment method; processing time depends on the payment provider and bank. Access may be suspended while a payment dispute is unresolved.

Your certificate and learning hours

Submit all six calculation records, complete the five module knowledge checks, and score at least 80% on the 20-question final assessment. Numerical work receives automatic feedback. Written explanations are retained in your workbook and are not individually graded by an instructor. You can review the course and retake the assessment.

The planned workload is three hours, including the assessment. Record actual engaged study time; additional practice may take longer. A certificate records completion, planned hours and learner-reported time. Your regulator decides what learning is admissible. Optimal Beam does not claim PEO endorsement or universal U.S. state-board approval. Read the eligibility notes.

Scope and equipment

This is an English-language, written course with diagrams and interactive calculator labs. Use a current browser and a desktop or laptop for the labs. Basic statics, algebra and engineering units are prerequisites. The course teaches elastic beam analysis and verification; it does not provide complete material-code design or project-specific engineering advice. Validate any application to real structures independently.

Records and privacy

We store your enrollment, payment references, calculation answers, explanations, progress, learner-reported time and assessment results to provide the course and verify completion. We do not store your card number. A certificate verification link reveals the learner name, course, completion date, result and recorded hours to anyone who has that link; it is excluded from search indexing. Your saved calculations and written explanations require account access.

After completion, your original learning records are protected from edits. Contact support if your certificate needs a correction. Keep downloaded copies of your completion package. See our privacy policy for privacy requests and service-provider information.

Course help and corrections

Contact course support for access issues, payment questions, accessibility needs or technical corrections. Include the course code OB-CE-BEAM-101, the module, your account email and a description of the issue. For calculation questions, include the units and steps you tried. Never send your password or full card details.

We review reported errors and provide version 1.x corrections. If an error affects your completed learning record, contact support so the record can be reviewed. General support does not include individual project design or instructor grading.
