Is Section Builder calculation free?
Yes. Every plan can assemble catalogue components, import DXF geometry, use limited AI proposals, and calculate custom-section properties. A paid plan is required to save editable cloud geometry or reusable sections, and using saved custom sections in premium Beam workflows may also require a plan.
What is Optimal AI?
Limited Section Builder geometry proposals are available on every plan. Professional also includes AI-enhanced model setup and assistance in Beam Calculator and 2D Structural Analysis.
What happens after the Free Explorer trial?
Your account stays active. Core Beam and 2D modeling, force results, and Section Builder calculation remain available. Premium diagrams, 2D displacement and load workflows, cloud saving, reports, expanded AI workflows, and project history are locked until you subscribe.
What happens to my saved models if I downgrade or cancel?
Your saved projects and sections remain associated with your account and can still be listed and opened. New cloud saves and revisions require an active plan, and 2D project source can be downloaded as JSON.
Do you offer company or business options?
Yes. Use the Business / Custom Quote form if your company needs multiple licenses, invoicing, onboarding, or a custom subscription discussion.
Is Optimal Beam a replacement for engineering judgment?
Optimal Beam helps with beam analysis, diagrams, and reports, but users are responsible for reviewing results and applying professional engineering judgment.
