Step 5 - Apply Loads:

From the Load Types panel, you can add point, distributed, or moment loads.

Add Point Load:

Click on the point load icons and fill in the location and magnitude of the point load on the dialog popup window.

A positive value will apply a downward force and a negative value will apply an upward force on the beam model.

Add Moment Load:

Click on the moment load icons and fill in the location and magnitude of the moment load on the dialog popup window.

A positive value will apply a clockwise moment load and a negative value will apply an counter clockwise moment load on the beam model.

Add Distributed Load:

Click on the distributed load icons and fill in the start and end location and magnitude of the distributed load on the dialog popup window.

A positive value will apply a downward force and a negative value will apply an upward force on the beam model.

You can apply a uniform, triangular, or trapezoidal distributed load.

Edit/Delete Loads:

In the table Action column, click on the edit icon on the load you want to modify. You can also delete the applied load by clicking the delete icon.
